Your IT department, without hiring one
Most small offices run on a few computers, a network nobody set up on purpose, and backups nobody has tested. When it breaks, the day stops. Managed IT means we keep it running for a flat monthly number, fix small things before they turn into big ones, and you call or text an owner when you need something.
Month to month to start. Two local owners, on-site across Wayne, Ontario, and Monroe counties, remote anywhere.
What a plan covers
- Help with workstations, email, printers, and the everyday stuff
- Updates and security patches applied, not ignored
- Backups set up, and actually tested so they restore
- Security basics done right: MFA, antivirus, admin accounts cleaned up
- Remote support for most issues, often fixed the same hour
- On-site visits when hands are needed
- We deal with your ISP, printer vendor, and software vendors so you don't
- A check-in each quarter on what's aging out and what's worth planning for
Pricing
Every plan starts with the free checkup so the number is based on your actual setup, not a guess. No long contract to begin. If we're not worth it, you stop.
How it works
1. Free checkup. We come out and look at the computers, the network, backups, and security. You get a one page list of what's fine and what isn't.
2. A flat monthly number. Based on what you actually have. Anything that needs fixing first is quoted flat.
3. We keep it running. Remote when that's faster, on-site when it matters. You text or call an owner directly.
Who it's for
Common questions
Is there a contract?
Month to month to start. Once we've worked together a while, some clients prefer an annual plan for a lower rate, but nobody has to.
What if something breaks at 7pm?
We're two owners, not a 24 hour call center, and we'll tell you our hours honestly. For plan clients we keep an after hours line for the genuinely urgent, and most problems get handled remotely the same evening.
Do we need to replace our computers?
Usually not right away. The checkup tells you what's fine, what's aging, and what's actually worth replacing. We'd rather extend a machine's life than sell you a new one.
Does the plan include compliance?
It can. If you take cards or handle patient data, we fold the PCI or HIPAA upkeep into the plan so it stays done instead of becoming a scramble. See the compliance page.
Tired of being your own IT department?
Start with the free checkup. You'll know where you stand and what a plan would cost before anyone asks you for a dime.
